Hi! We’re Chris and Alison.

When we first met we discovered a shared love of all things DIY and knew we were meant to be. (Heck, our first date was at Rona — our idea of romance!) Now, wedding vows, home renovations, house flips, two dogs, one kiddo and a dream company later, we’ve combined our love and expertise. Why? Because we believe home is where lives take root and the things that matter bloom. And we love helping you get there.

Meet Chris Gillespie

The inside joke in our family is that if Chris ever retires, we’ll find him moonlighting as a tour guide. Born and raised in Victoria, he has deep roots on southern Vancouver Island and is chomping at the bit to show you around.

A stand-up guy with a serious work ethic, Chris has worn all of the realty hats over the years: successful business owner, real estate investor, landlord, builder and homeowner. He’s also a first-rate dad (and doggo dad).

After years of being the go-to for friends and family seeking realty advice, a career in real estate made perfect sense. In his first year as an agent, he won the Rookie of the Year award (we’re not sure where the trophy is now) and 20 years on, he hasn’t looked back!

From helping clients purchase their first home to growing their dream property or real estate portfolio, Chris knows solid relationships and honest advice are the heart of his business — and the measure of success.

Meet Alison Gillespie

Design aficionado

Lover of colour. Instagram and Pinterest obsessive. Alison has yet to find a home design project she doesn’t love. Her savvy for upsizing, downsizing, and farm-buying (yep, for a while chickens were her thing) is no secret. Clients and friends seek her opinion on everything from minor home improvements — where to source the best backsplash, the perfect tile or custom fireplace — to major renovations (she’s tackled more than a few).

She loves the challenge of turning the most overlooked house on a street into the loveliest home for the long haul. There’s not an Airstream trailer, lakeside cottage or urban fixer-upper she doesn't think could be transformed into something pretty special.

Alison joins clients in their home search, helping them picture the possibilities for a new space, and proves that a few simple touches can boost the appeal of a house for sale. She’s a believer that dwellings of all kinds, in every neighbourhood, have the potential to become well-loved homes — big budgets not required.
